Hi, newbie investor looking to relocate to Columbus in January.

I was wondering if anybody on here lives in 43206 area code (south linden Columbus)? If so what’s your overall feel of the neighborhood? Do you enjoy living there?

And also is there any special precautions and state law requirements that I should know when it comes to dealing with Sec 8 tenants?
thanks….

@Austin McClain, yes I did. you see since I am relocating to Columbus, and I can’t keep my current job so I will need an offer letter from my new employer, without that I can’t do much. That has been my roadblock for two months now (and the deals go fast) however I’m still trying all the tools in my arsenal until I break it, you never know I might get lucky.
Thanks for the feedback

Hi everyone,

I’m a newbie investor looking to close my first deal, and relocating to Columbus OH.
After over 150 property analysis I have found a deal (4-unit) that cash flow positive in Columbus market.
my goal is to house hack, buy and hold.
I was wondering if there are investors who are interested in 50/50 equity partnership with me on this one, where you will bring the funds.
I will manage the property since I will be living in one unit.
Please DM me if this pick your interest so we can schedule a short meeting to tell you a little bit more about myself and my goals, and to gauge whether I am a good fit for you.
Thank you, sincerely!

@John O'Leary, what areas are being revitalizing? What rents are going at for LTR on a duplex?

With a $400k loan budget, what’s the inventory like for duplexes and triplexes?

What are some of the neighborhoods I should look into?

Thank you for your feedback.

Thanks @Charles Carillo for the feedback.

I’ve used city-data and neighborhoodscout. I’ll check out the others.
