Hello,

I have been trying to figure out a better way to purchase real estate without burning through cash.

I'm considering opening up a HELOC on both my rental properties since their value has grown since purchasing them and then purchasing more Real Estate that way.

Interested to hear peoples thoughts on this.

I am looking at a property and it has an upstairs that’s completely detached from the main floor of the house and has its own kitchen.

The kitchen is of course illegal. Is there anyway to make it legal? Perhaps provide proper ventilation or does it have to be removed completely to avoid potential issues?

Hello,

I recently purchased my first rental in Austell and am now looking for another property to purchase that requires a lot more renovation, and I need a trusted GC who can bid out the work and stay on schedule once work commences.

I have been in contact with a few GCs so far but wanted to look for a referral in Biggerpockets.

Areas that I am looking to invest in; Austell, Powder Springs, Smyrna, Lawrenceville, Snellville, Marietta to name a few.

Send me a direct message if you have any you would recommend I interview.

@Rob C.

Hope you are doing well. It’s been very difficult to purchase my first property in Atlanta so as of today, I don’t have any reviews on their work. The person I have been communicating with(Jarrod) has been very helpful and responsive up to this point and it’s been almost 3 months since I started my search.

Once I close(hopefully soon) I will definitely share my experience.

Hello,

I have been looking to invest in the Atlanta market for about a month now and will be closing in on a deal soon(I hope). I found a Property Management company called Specialized Atlanta who also does business in other major cities such as Dallas.

They seem almost to good to be true so, I wanted to see if anyone has heard of them or has experience with them to share before I select them as my Property Management company.
