Hello BP, I'm wondering if there is a master carpenter out there who is able to tell me: what are the miter angles for an outside and inside corners for 5 1/4 inch crown. I normally just use the corner boxes to save the headache but I'm hibernating for the winter and have a garage full of saws and boards so I thought I'd practice a bit. I deal with old homes that have paneled walls and so a topper is often needed. We don't have a bunch of carpenters to choose from in my area and I would be wasting their driving time for such a small task. Is there a formula for this cut assuming that the corner is somewhat aligned?

@Andrew McCauley Of course you can use your skills. Your chops can be used at the Pre-development stage and redevelopers and devlopers alike will bring business your way if you deliver a great product at a great price. Check with the Little Rock Chamber of commerce, look up Moses Tucker you can get a feel of what's happening/coming to Central Arkansas. Welcome to Arkansas!

Or you could make custom box with rollers for cookie sheets/ a large baking pans or attach a wire basket or two for small items. It can be useful space instead of filling it.

@J Smelser welcome to Arkansas the natural state! Hope to meet you someday. While driving for dollars. I came across an 10 plex ( five row houses of duplexes actually) They were boarded up, the owner may be motivated. Hit me up if you're interested.

private lenders are relationship people, but they certainly want know that you know what you're doing. Use the calculators, develop a lending kit that gives them the information about you and the deal. As newbie it will still be hard but this shows you are seriously investing in yourself and understanding your local area.
