@Elaine Kowalski Thanks for the speedy reply (: Could tell me he details on the challenges you had to go through with this property? Also what is your best guess on how much longer you will have to hold the property before its sold?

@Elaine Kowalski What is the market like in your area?

I know how you feel i moving towards the same outcome, being able to retire from the 9-5 life and becoming your own boss I do agree with jerry hold on to the steady income while you build wealth.

Best of luck to you dana its always great to see people from the island on here, what part of the island did you plan on starting in ? or were you thinking of going out of state?

Have you already built your dream team ?

Look forward to hearing from you. Take care and happy investing.

Hey BP I just have a quick question and for those of you that take the time to read this thank you in advance.

So im starting out as a bird dog here in the Oahu area. I have the time but not the money (or experience lol) and one of the best ways ive found to market (for a person in my situation) is driving for dollars. I have gone out and done just that out here in ewa beach and found a few properties that look good (at least to my untrained eyes) ive got the addresses and the property owners names but now im stuck.

At this point do i contact the owner myself and see if they are willing to sell? If so how do i get the phone number information? aside from looking it up in the white pages? Or is this the part i hand the address and info to an experienced investor and have them take it from there?

Thanks Again BP.
