New to REI, new to BP, living in Hawaii

Hi,

My name is Scott and I'm currently living in Hawaii (Oahu). Quite new to all of this but looking to learn as much as I can, make contacts, and eventually make my first foray into REI. I'm really intrigued by the idea of buy and hold investing for the steady cash flow. And most likely out of state, since the prospects of finding positive cash flow properties here in Hawaii are probably fairly low.

Anyway, still learning my way around this site but I look forward to meeting some like-minded folks here on BP (and locally, for those of you who happen to be in Hawaii as well)!
