@Veronica Giggers - Use this site:  https://www.bankrate.com/mortg...

Once you land on the webpage, fill out the Home price section then 'click' on the Amortization tab.  You can then plug in the frequency amount of the additional payment(s) and the payoff date will adjust accordingly!

Thank you Mitchlyn, I will try that site.

Mitchlyn, I'm looking at the Amortization calculator you provided. If I want to calculate extra mortgage payments to pay down a loan faster, do I input a higher number of payments? I am trying to figure out how much more to pay per month and how many monthe it will decrease the loan term.

Thank you.

@Veronica Giggers - I use this site to plug in numbers when underwriting the amortized loans:  https://bretwhissel.net/cgi-bin/amortize

Be sure to 'click' on the Show Amortization Schedule checkbox after you enter your loan information.

Let me know if you have any other questions.

Thank you. I will take a look at it.

Hello BP family. Is anyone using an Amortization Schedule calculator to figure loan information? If so what mobile app do you find to be the best? Also, what is a good computer or online program to calculate and keep records of business financial and/ or household expenses Does anyone still use Quickbook or Quicken?

Thank You.

BHAG:

- Expand my $41k/yr to $1M+/yr in passive income (Rental, dividends, ...)

- Purchase my own Helicopter/s to achieve personal and company movement freedom!!! (Driving is becoming unsafe IMO and airlines are sketchy)

- Build my business to support 1,500 housing units for homeless and Disabled Veterans.

Hello Shaun. Your post caught my eye. My partner and I are looking into ways to add value to the homeless and disabled veterans in our state. We are researching ways to purchase housing that can be used for renting to our veterans. I heard about a program called HUD-Wash. Are you familiar with that program?

Quote from @Harry Singh:

Hello all, I have been contacted by pair of partners running a senior care center,  to run their business in my duplex. It's a 5 bed 4 bath house. What are the different aspects of this kind of rental and how much rent should be as compared to renting to a single family? Thanks.

Hello Harry and everyone else. Your post's caught my eye. We are planning to purchase a small multifamily and use it for senior housing. We do not want an assisted living type situation, just housing that is suited for seniors (handicap accessible etc). What is the "senior care center"? Is it similar to assisted living where there are paid medical staff to come into the home ? Thank you

Hello everyone. We are planning to purchase small multifamily properties and will be building relationships with banks and private investors. We are putting our business plan together and are wondering where to find a good template to use. Also is there a particular company to use for ordering business stationary, letterheads, cards?  Thank you.

Something I have learned that might be helpful to someone else: Ask open ended questions when interviewing prospective tenants.
