It’s by a few hundred dollars

Hello,

My tenants (2 units total) pay utilities except for water and the water bill is higher than normal. What would be the best way to address to them about pitching in more money due to higher water bill? Thanks!

A roof contractor quoted $24,000 for a property that had 2,300 sq ft of living space for asphalt shingles if the property needed a new roof. The angles of the roof aren’t steep either. I looked online and the average cost to replace shingles on a 2,400 sq ft home was only about 8,000-12,000.

I feel like even if the company has a lot of 4-5 stars on yelp doesn’t mean that they won’t take advantage of you.

How do you find capable contractors that won’t rip you off in the Los Angeles area?

Tenant tried contacting previous owner about replacing a washing machine 2 years ago that didn’t work anymore. Owner didn’t respond and tenant bought a new washing machine anyways. Now that there’s a new property owner, Does the tenant get to keep new washing machine after he moves out or does that new washing machine technically belong to the new property owner? Thanks!
