@Kat W. Haha funny you should mention that, my father in law is quite the handyman. He and a few others help remodel his home, and it doesn’t even look the same!! I was mind blown about the before and after pictures. I will definitely get him to help us with the remodeling and the experience as well. This will be our first time remodeling a home. Wish us luck *nervous laughter*

@Kat W. That is completely understandable. Me and my wife want to use live in flips to fund our early retirements quickly. Depending on our exit strategy we might have to rent out the property unless we can’t sell as quickly after 2 years. What renovations in your opinion was easy to do by yourself and what projects did you outsource ?

@Kat W. That sounds fun! How long did it take you and your husband to completely renovate your home? And how long it take for y’all to sell?

@Mike Dymski sweet!! And what was your process from start to finish during the live in flip? What part of your home did you renovate first?

@Brian Garrett Sweet!! I got to look into this. Thanks man!! And also what were your steps as you conducted your live in flip process?

@Brian Garrett With the profit tax, does that vary by state and county? I know that tax laws are always changing and I will be keeping an eye on them, especially after this election and pandemic has pass.

Good evening,

Me and my wife are looking into live in flips and are wondering what are the positives and negatives of this strategy? Also what was your process during your live in flip? All comments are welcome.

@Bill Fleming thank you!

Good morning all,

I am a 90% disabled veteran and I was looking at using the VA loan to purchased my first property in Lexington, SC. My wife and I will be living in the home for a year or two, then we will be renting out the home and purchasing a second property and repeating the process. The BRRRR strategy is becoming my one of favorite strategies to begin with and I wanted to know if that strategy can be using with the VA loan?

Good afternoon,

I just formed my LLC to my company and I am looking to get a business license in Jessup, MD in Howard County. What type of business license should I apply for since my company focuses on flipping and rehabbing properties? Thank you all.
