Hello all! I am a newbie in the south Florida region who is looking at different approaches that I could possibly start up with. One of the things that I find very common is the amount of condos for sale in the 55+ communities. They tend to have some very good deals out there for these types of properties. Does anyone have any experience dealing with these types of communities? Some pros or cons that come along with this type of investment?

I am a newbie in the South Florida region, Fort Lauderdale to be exact. My name is Tyler Harrel, I am a young ambitious man who is eager to start gaining knowledge towards REI.

I became seriously interested in real estate after I had purchased my first single family home. After a couple months, I had started renting out one of the rooms. That is when I really started becoming interested in renting out properties. Not only did the cash flow grab my attention, but since I am so young, starting to invest my money at this age, I realized it would help me out in the long run.
