Hey BP,

I have some really great ideas, both inside and outside of real estate, that I want to bring into reality. This will involve partnering and hiring employees or contractors.

I've never started up or run a business before, so I want to learn as much as I can as quickly as I can about the initial phases of starting up. Legalities, licenses, hiring, etc. I know a lot will be learned as I go but I want to be able to cover my bases starting out.

What resources can you recommend for the beginning entrepreneur?

Hey again BP,

Although I have some experience in being a manager at a pizza restaurant in the past, I'm looking to develop my leadership skills as an entrepreneur. I am in the beginning stages of starting up my own business and it is pretty intimidating with all he new responsibility of being the man in charge and bossing people around that may be older and more seasoned than me. Looking for that happy medium between dictator and push over.

What are some good books, videos, podcasts, etc. you would recommend?

@Che Chiu Wong Thanks, will definitely add it to my list. I've always wanted to study more about emerging markets.

@Steve Olafson Looks right up my alley, apartment buildings is what I want to start with (I'd like a fourplex soon).

@Joe Fairless True true! I'm a very thorough person so would not skimp on that! Especially as an inspector myself and the stuff I've seen. Going to check out your show and site. $0 I can actually afford right now. haha

@Eric H. I love these posts that go through the day in, day out of starting a REI Business. I'm thinking about wholesaling or bird dogging myself and your post was very inspirational. Good luck to you in the future!

Awesome results @Chad Benedict looks like you got the hustle down right!

I'm a newbie myself, and would like to get started in wholesaling and bird dogging. How do you keep track of your buyers list, such as that you know who is interested in what, and what do you send to them? The dude with thousands of buyers seems overwhelming to me. Organization is key!

How did you find and build the team you currently have?

@Steve Olafson Thanks for your input,

what books or resources could you recommend for the skills you listed, such as making returns and real estate cycles?
