Hi! My name is Truong Tran, I'm 18 years old and I've been on BP for many months now. I haven't done any deals yet. I have two part time jobs and I'm saving money to invest. The thing is, and I'm glad I've finally found myself, that I love learning. I never thought that I'd turn out this way. I love studying successful people, and this may be funny but is it weird that sometimes when I'm in my room reading/learning something new, that I get emotional(tears in my eyes)? That I have such an opportunity to obtain new knowledge? I get excited now, when I have the chance to talk to someone with much more knowledge than me! I have an emotional drive for success in real estate investing. I know that I'm broke now, but one day I won't be. I can't wait to continue learning. I want to meet many people that I can learn from. I am so humble and thankful for BP to exist, I can ask really simplistic questions and receive insight. I recently just wrote some stuff in a notebook of mines some quotes. " When You make mistakes (fail)...learn and 'rebuild' BETTER " "Leave a lasting impression on people" "We are too soon old and too late smart" "Time is limited" I honestly can't wait to have more quotes, because to me it's not just quotes, but lessons. I Can't wait to find the people who are going to stand behind me and guide the arrow of my bow to hit the target that I've been searching for. -THANKS SO MUCH FOR WHOEVER IS READING THIS! It really is a different introduction, not really an introduction.

I've yet to come across the "mentor" in person who will guide me to success. Key words "in person".

Can i consider the people who answer my questions on bigger pockets, and the people in the videos I watch, Mentors??

I know it's a basic question, but at this point, i need some help finding all the FSBO, and potential deals, all i really do is drive around or look online. Mainly looking for someone who's interested in seller finance.

What if I LEASE a home with the option to buy, does that allow me to bring in a tenant who i can then give the option to rent-to-own, even if i'm not the Owner?? I thought that because since i am basically a "tenant" and not the owner I would not be able to bring in my own tenants.  Also if i am able to do that, what if eventually the tenant wants to exercise their option to buy, will they pay me in full and then i pay the person i leased from?? Theres a lot of confusion in this and i apologize but hopefully someone can give me some insight! Thank you! I

Lol I literally just went through the same phase 5 months ago, relying on Zillow, and other things to find the ARV. It is actually possible to get compatibles through realtors, if you great relations with them, just gotta be nice๐Ÿ˜Š
