Need some insight on RENT TO OWN

What if I LEASE a home with the option to buy, does that allow me to bring in a tenant who i can then give the option to rent-to-own, even if i'm not the Owner?? I thought that because since i am basically a "tenant" and not the owner I would not be able to bring in my own tenants.  Also if i am able to do that, what if eventually the tenant wants to exercise their option to buy, will they pay me in full and then i pay the person i leased from?? Theres a lot of confusion in this and i apologize but hopefully someone can give me some insight! Thank you! I
