I doubt it very much the biggest digital and technical threat to real estate was ibuyers which was, in my opinion, more a threat to investors(wholesalers).

The biggest players redfin, Zillow and open-door just paused their iBuying business model.

You have to remember the transaction side of real estate agent job is only one side of the job the biggest part of being a real estate agent is being a consultant for the seller and/or buyer.

I actually thought the same thing when becoming a realtor as I come from a technical background namely (Cloud, Blockchain, and programming) but after becoming a realtor I realize quickly that technology would not make the real estate agent obsolete no time soon.

I will say real estate agents that would like to continue to thrive would have to embrace some form of digital transformation but the idea the technology would remove the need for people in a people-based business is not going to happen until we get robots that look and act like humans ... lol

@Alexis H. I would search the forum for investor friendly realtor. The Association normally have tools that will help identify distressed property such as remine.

@Brian Pulaski You are correct but if it is on the MLS they go after the license agent who put it on.

Not all States have reciprocity, for example Florida does not have reciprocity at all. I would check the real estate commission in Arizona.
