When rehabbing a SFH that will be bought by a first time homebuyer, how frequently is granite used as a countertop instead of laminate? Also, what is the difference in price between the two?

I am most interested in the size of the floor that the tile will be put on and the relation of its size compared to the entire bathroom.

I was wondering what the size of a bathroom is in square feet of a typical SFH for a first time homebuyer. I ask that in order to know how much tile to buy to do the bathroom floor.

When putting together a budget to rehab a SFH, what % of that budget will be the labor cost when having a contractor do the work>

Also, what type of kitchen flooring is used most frequently when rehabbing kitchens and baths, tile or vynal and why?

When putting together a rehab budget for a fix and flip SFH, what % of that budget will be the labor costs if having a contractor do the work?

Jacqueline,

If you are able to bring properties to me before they hit the MLS, that will be great as I am looking for a realtor who I can use to sell my fix and flips and who knows how to generate traffic to the Open Houses.

My plans are to have at least 1 fix and flip open house per month and then as I get bigger to have multiple Fix and flip homes available for resale every month. I am looking to build a team of people who will be able to put my system pretty much on auto pilot so my business and team know exactly how each person works so we can make money as a well oiled machine!
