Thanks for the reply!

I had a gut feeling about what you said in your response.

It seems it would be o.k. since were not telemarketers or robocalls.

I started cold calling recently, and I had a quick question to anyone who has found any success through cold calling.

My question is do you check all prospects that you call, do you verify a prospect's phone number against the Do Not Call registry, or do you just call the prospect without checking the registry?

Thanks for reading and any advice is appreciated.

@Jason N. What kind of info do you have regarding your company? I am currently cold-calling not using skip tracing.

@Allie Shima Thank you! This should help big time when vetting my leads.

@Taylor L. I thought of that after I posted.

Thanks for the tip.

I am currently beginning to cold-call to find leads. As I am doing my research to find the phone numbers for property owners, I am cross referencing the numbers I find with the Do Not Call registry.

My issue is, and I am curious if anyone else has had the same problem, the Do Not Call website sent me an email saying "you've exceeded the amount of numbers you can verify"

My question is:

How can I continue to check these numbers against the Do Not Call list after having received this message. Did i exceed my number of "Verifies" for the day? Will it reset tomorrow?

Thanks in advance.

@Kevin Rodriguez Nice find, congrats on your property.

A couple of questions...

How long did it take you to find this property on the MLS and how tough was it to close?

Any strategies that especially worked for this situation?

Congrats man on saving up that amount of money and venturing into REI. I'm looking to get to 50k in the next three years.

Honestly, from all of the podcasts and books i've read, the direction you go in depends on 1) How much risk you look to take on and (the most important point) 2) What are your goals and are you investing in a way that coincides with those goals.

This is the approach that I am taking, having how I invest determined by what goals I have set.

Good Luck to you @Luke Farrell

@James DuBois I personally have watched some of his stuff, but something about him "rubs me the wrong way".

As Brandon has said in the podcast, "Anyone trying to sell you on Real Estate secrets is lying to you. There are no secrets of Real Estate."

So anything that guy is trying to sell you I beleive you could learn through hustling and taking action.

Good Luck man

@Kyle Varga Hey man, way to go! Looking forward to being able to quit my day job one day, though it's a great company.

I myself am looking to at the San Antonio market to invest, though not at the moment.

I am at 10K saved, looking to get to 50k by the end of 2023 to invest in San Antonio.

By that time you'll have quit your day job.

Good luck to you!
