Post: EIN only business bank account without ss#

Hi everyone, can someone help answer this question for me? I have a holding company LLC which is 100% owner of my subsidiary LLC. So my understanding is not 100% clear. So when it is said that you can open a business bank account for the subsidiary LLC with EIN only and without ss# does this mean with NO ss# at all whatsoever? Or does this just mean the account uses the EIN to only open up the account BUT you still need to give your ss# to be on the account to have access and be a signer??

Any time I have seen this question the answer has not been 100% clear. Hopefully someone can clarify for me.

So let me know if there is anyway to NOT use my ss# at all whatsoever, OR do I still need to use it but ONLY to have access and be a signer BUT NOT to open the account up.

Hopefully this makes sense! Thank you in advance for any clarification, greatly appreciated!

use a standard NJ realtor contract. you can google it. if you are going to wholesale or assign the contract you just need to cross out the paragraph that says "not assignable"

use the NJ association of realtors - standard form of real estate contract you can just google it and print it out. You just need to cross out the area that says "not assignable"

ok thanks. i just wanted to clarify. because the person i heard this from was at a class about being a "raiser" to raise money for a loan or for a fund. and they were talking about raising money from accredited investors opposed to non-accredited. and the requirement to be accredited was that you needed to make $200k or more for 2 consecutive years in a row. and then the class also mentioned some things about refinancing certain deals. so i think this person was getting something mixed up and confused and combining the being an accredited investor with the refinance part. and i was trying to tell them that i think they are misunderstanding but they kept telling me i was wrong.

any other responses / answers would be great.

Hi everybody, i have a question about doing the BRRRR strategy. (hopefully this isnt a stupid question, sorry if it is but im just starting out). i heard from someone that in order to do a refinance you need to be making at least 200k per year for 2 consecutive years. has anyone ever heard anything like this? i dont think its true and i dont know why it would matter. i havent seen or heard this from anywhere on this site so thats why i dont really believe it. but i just want to get everyone's opinion.

thank you

people agree to keep the mortgage in their name all the time. sometimes it is their best or only option so its a win win. there are many investors successfully utilizing this strategy. your not telling them they shouldn't sell, (yes you dont really know) sometimes its the only way they can sell or the only way that its worth it for the investor to buy.
