I agree with J and Kyle. It's not a deal killer if you treat, and repair, and prevent. If you don't get it properly cleaned and repair the damage, then yes, it will turn off prospective homeowners.

Get a professional though to reomove them. I wouldn't try this on my own.

I'm researching the same thing for a sale.

Rustoleum looks like almost like a paint job.

Has anyone heard of Restorz-it?

Here is their website:

I know I'm a little late on this thread, but I wanted to also offer my congrats.

Jon Klaus has had the most influence on me from BP. I have the good fortune of us both living in the DFW area and have had several meetings, conversations and email exchanges. Not only is Jon very knowledgeable, but he is so willing to share with others. He truly has the heart of a teacher.

Congrats Jon!

I have to echo everyone's comments. I too have really enjoyed your insightful contributions. You are a true BP success story.

I had the good fortune of meeting James in Denver last year, and he is the real deal. Very determined, disciplined and knowledgeable.

Congrats!

Ha! I would never insult Precious!

What kind of dog did the vampire have?

I really appreciate all of Steven's wisdom he's shared with everyone on BP. It's about time he starts getting paid big bucks for all of his advice!!! Congrats Steven!

I've updated the property listed for sale. We have a big incentive to get off our books prior to year end. Let me know if you have any interest.
