Hi Guys/Gals,

I found a very nice 2 bedroom mobile home in FL and the park allows renting. No work needs to do be done.

I cant decide if I want to hire a property management team to rent it out for me or if I want to hire a real estate agent to sell it on a rent to own basis $1000 down $250 per month over 5 years.

Is it smart to have BOTH options on the table at the same time and whatever happens first go that route?

I live in Chicago so hiring 1 or the other or both would be a must.

If I do a rent to own type deal how do they payments come in?

Thanks for any input.

Hi Guys,

Found a good deal on a mobile home. Was thinking of having the tenant pay the HOA monthly fee's and charging rent at $400 instead of $900. This would help me in 2 ways, 1) My property manager would be only be getting $400 of the firsts months rent instead of $900. 2) I would save around $700 per year on fees. I watched a youtube video that says its allowed but the video is 10 years old. Wondering if thats still the case. Thanks!

HI Guys,

I was thinking of renting out my condo rather than sell it. There is tons of property management companies in my area. Rather than choose 1 and hope they find a renter could I approach all of them and first one who finds me a qualified tenant gets the deal? Not sure if thats right to do or not? Thanks so much for the help

Thanks for the replies

Hey Guys!! New to the site!

I'm from Chicago looking to dive into the real estate market... I currently own and live in a foreclosed condo that I got for dirt cheap... I currently pay $380 per month for my mortgage but could easily rent this out for $900-1100 for my area.

I was thinking about trying to do the same thing with other foreclosed condos in my area... is this is a smart idea or could 20k be spent better else where?

Thanks!

Tom
