I am a little confused about an issue. My lawyer told me to put my assets under the LLC and Tax ID number how do I do this if I get a traditional mortgage loan to finance a rental property in my name and social? I am really confused in this area!! Help!!

25,000 property single family foreclosure. kitchen need to be repainted. Has new cabinets and roof. Looks like they started rehab and didn't finish. the rest of the house looks great. 2 bdrm 1/3/4 bath not occupied, decent neighborhood. 1-1/2 story. Has anyone had any experience investing in property in this area?

Thank you for your very educational response. I did however contact an attorney and form and LLC the other day. I will most likely be contacted you to form one in the states you serve as I feel you are a very knowledgeable lawyer and I would like to work with you in the future.

Hi Elizabeth how are you? I'm new to this. I need some advice on getting started and filing an LLC. Do I need and LLC for every property that I buy if it is in multiple states or will a series LLC Do?

Hi Ali I'm Tina I'm just starting out looking to invest in apartments

Do you have any suggestions as to where I can get legal advice from for real estate advice?

@Aurus J. Sanchez There are many loan structures you can go with maybe going to the bank sit down with your banker and explain your plans. Find out what best fits your situation. You are young so you may need a cosigner and everything is possible don't stop if one door shuts just open another one. Read Robert Kawasaki Rich Dad poor Dad I love his books on investing.
I am just getting started I have rented before I have one piece of real estate that I am trying to rent now I want to buy an apartment complex and keep building my portfolio. I just need a little bit of advice on protecting my assets. I would like to buy in multiple states what is the best way that I can protect myself from liabilities?
