 Valid point

As long as you purchase a condo with a STR friendly HOA and have a decent PM system while you are away, Miami is a great market for this.

Atwood is a neat property. The attached MIL was a huge selling point for us. It has done surprisingly well as an Airbnb (despite the location).

I mostly blame the PM company you used for all of the grief this property has caused us. 

I think I might have more to say! haha. I was paying out a contactor in draws to do this rehab. When I finally had a third party go and inspect his work, NOTHING WAS DONE! A pipe burst in the attic and the entire house was flooded. He was sending me pics of a different property for his draw payments. Long story short, I sued him and had to get a company to complete the rehab. Major learning experience!! I'm glad it's working out for you.
