Ophelia,

I search a lot of RE sites but do not have direct access to MLS. I do like to see that success can be found this way. I'm guess you made a low offer on a property that was sitting on the market for a while?

Will,

What are your thoughts on this if you are looking for a way into the market and want to own a property?

I currently rent a 3/2 and have two roomies. To me the option to get an entry into the business, get a deal on a house and then do the same as I am now but having my mortgage being paid seems like a good idea.

Great work, looks fantastic. How did you find the property?

I'm looking into this myself. It certainly favors the young investor since we are more likely to be single and willing to rough it. My issues now are what to do once the year has passed. Rent, sell etc...

After hours its down 5% right now. Tomorrow should be interesting. The emotion involved in stocks is really quite interesting.

I'd imagine its going to take a hit for a few days, everyone will realize the iPhone 5 is still coming out and it will be back in business. Long term is another story but I'm sure this stock will dip and recover quickly. Good chance to make some money.

I have never held an LLC or a business of this type so my mindset isn't quite the same but for a past business a lot rode on the web address being available and it being simple to say and easy to market. That was a retail business though, much different.

I do agree, stick to professional and my personal style is short and sweet. If you are planning to market your business for any reason it might be wise to consider what how the name would fit into a web address that is available.

Just wondering how many members have done this for their own residence.

I'm looking into doing my first deal and it seems like a viable option. I need a house anyhow, it would help me get my feet wet and there seems to be some good benefits to doing it this way if you are willing to rough it for a while. In your opinion, what would the good and bad be of this plan?

Check out the Bahia resort in Mission Beach.

Its the first place I stayed when I as around 12 and I knew then I wanted to live here.

Walk to the beach, easy access to Mission Bay for watersports etc... I'm making an assumption here that two teenage boys want to do active things.

Check out Yelp for good reviews on local places. Its a great time to visit in March.

I'll bet it dips into the 9000 territory then we are back in business.

This isn't 2008 banks aren't bankrupt, automakers aren't toast.

Its almost time to go shopping for some deals.
