Leo,  thank you for your question, as I am in the same boat as you, and I really appreciated the valuable responses you got from the community.

Since I live in the heart of Silicon Valley, I also want to start by investing out of state. How have you progressed since you made this post?  I'd be happy to share the research I have done so far on selecting the best area to focus on.
