I’m just trying to figure out the leasing situation for a triplex that is fully tenant occupied. There is time left on the current lease. Do I “take over” the existing landlord’s lease until it expires or should the tenants sign my own, new lease?

Any advice on how to get it transferred over? I called the lender and they hadn’t heard of doing it before, we did some research together and ended up at Ginnie Mae requirements but no definitive answer on if I could do it with a quitclaim deed.

Hey guys, I'm new here and looking for some advice. I own a house in a different state (Mississippi) from where I live (New York). I started a company and intend on buying duplex rental properties in my area. I've been trying to transfer the Mississippi title over to the company but it's highly difficult and I can't get straight answers. Would there be a tax benefit to having the rent paid to my business account and mortgage paid from that account if the LLC doesn't "own" the property and it remains in my name?
