To assist with the rehabilitation of a multi-unit apartment building, I am searching for a contractor. The structure is in poor condition and has suffered serious fire damage. I'd want to get an idea of how much effort will be required to restore this property.

Investment property in Dallas TX for buy and hold

What made you interested in investing in this type of deal?

I was looking to move to Texas and wanted to find a property that would build equity fairly quickly.

How did you find this deal and how did you negotiate it?

I was not getting my offers looked at for about 2 months due to others offering way over asking price. But I found this property listed right after the harsh cold in March of 2021 and I immediately offered slightly over asking price to secure this deal.

I plan to live in this property and ride the equity wave while paying down the principal.

Hey Alex yeah I’m looking for 2 to 4 units. And I’m looking between 200 and $450,000. I’m also looking more near south east Dallas or just the greater Dallas area.

Thanks for getting back to me I appreciate it. Yes I am looking for 2 to 4 units. If renovation is required that is fine but overall my strategy is buy and hold. Doesn’t matter if they are move-in ready or need a little bit of work.
