@Brian Adams, I see that this is an old post, but it is still helping people. Thank you! I own three duplexes, and I'm gearing up to make the same jump that you made into large apartments. My question for you is on management. I've had a poor experience on a small scale with property management companies. When we invest in our first 100+ unit property, it's got to be a win! Do you have any tips on how to research and find a top notch management company for our first larger complex? I haven't created relationships in that realm yet, so I want to be extra careful in finding the right fit.
