Post: Question about refinancing

Purchased my 3 unit home last year, I occupy 1 unit. Repairs became more costly than anticipated, subsequently my credit card balance grew.

Are there any opportunities available for someone that has encountered this situation? I’d prefer to have 1 larger bill than 2 each month.

Any suggestions/solutions would greatly appreciated.

Respectfully,

New At This, Learning As I Go.

Thank you

Hello,

I’m a invester in the Attleboro MA area and I’m looking to connect to other investors in MA and RI areas.  I try to get to the meetups in these areas but my work schedule refrains me from getting there. I have to be at work at 400am.  Sometimes it’s impossible for me to get to the meeting at night.  I would like to connect with some people who are willing to get together on a Saturday or Sunday or early afternoon on weekdays.   Or even a zoom call.  I have one Multifamily and looking to scale.   If anyone is interested, please reach out to me.

Thank you.

Hello,

Anybody know of any Realastate meetups in the Providence RI area?  I’m love to connect with people that invest in this area and also the Attleboro MA.

Thank you.

Hello,

Would love any advice on this!  I got my first multifamily back in January of 2023, which i am currently house hacking. I have some problems now scaling to my next property.  I got myself into some credit card debt during my renovations.  I underestimated them.  I have no money right now for a down payment.  Is it best to pay my credit cards off first and then save for a down payment?  I feel so stuck right now and it’s frustrating.  I really would love to continue my journey but have no idea which direction to go.  Any advice would be greatly appreciated.  Thank you!

Hello,

I'm looking to do a couple of Burrs's  in Lansing MI.  My market is just too high. Any thoughts on this city and if not this city, any suggestions on where are the best to do this stragerty?  If this city is a good one, are there any experience realtors from here that can guide me into the right direction with contractors, hard money lenders and the the right areas.  TY in advance.

hello,

Any opinions on this deal?
also, the bigger pockets calculator is saying I’m negative on the 50% rule.  I’m confused because this calculator is saying my # are pretty good.

Any input would be great.  My rents total is 4999. Mortgage 3800

Hello,

I want to make an offer on my first multifamily, I’m need to live in one of the units.  Problem is, I have they are all have tent ants, at will.  I would have to have someone leave.  I kind of a big heart, so how would I go about this?   I think this would be a great starter house for me.

Hello,

I’m interested in purchasing, my first property and one of the problems is the tenants, that are there, are paying, extremely under-market rents. How do I, as a new landlord, go about to up there rents? I don’t want to be the bad landlord but I do need to up it by 600-700 dollars at some point. I just don’t know, if that’s a crazy amount but, that is the market value. Any suggestions? I need to meet the criteria of my investment, especially if going to live in one of the units. Thank you in advance.

There is not rent control in MA.

Is this worth the hassle or find a new property without tenants?

Hi,

I’m a new investor, still trying to find a deal. I wanted to invest out of state. Anyone know, what states are the best right now. My market is so crazy expensive in MA.

Hi,

I’m new to investing but I was just Wondering, when you do meet partners to invest in, what ways do you end up trusting them? How do you make sure, the money is being split evenly?
