@Juan Campos this is a great question. I’ve found that a money market account works decently for temporary or short term holding. Also find someone to lend it out to. I know I’m personally always looking for small amount lenders for the rehab costs for example. There’s bound to be someone you can find to lend it out for a 6-9 month period as a second on a promissory note etc. Best of luck in your adventures!

House Hacking - One of the simplest ways to own your own real estate while others help you pay for it. While you're there you can BRRR it and build your portfolio.

I'd recommend a 2-4 unit to start with as that will also give you land lording skills.

Enjoy the journey! And remember, its a marathon and don't compare your achievements (or lack there of) to others.

@Connor Fortenbacker

Here’s a short list, but if you search for books here on BP you can’t go wrong. Cheers!

@Brian Nichols

I live in CO but invest in KCMO. I’ve worked with @JK Rodricks and he’s been great. He’s very investor friendly agent and has worked for turnkey and property management companies. Highly recommend him. I can send you his info if you’re interested.

Welcome to the world of RE investing! It’s a long ride so hold on and stay steady. My advise-One of the worst things you can do is buy a bad deal just to “have a deal”. Run your numbers. Know your goals for each property you buy. ;) -cheers!

@Jason M.

Welcome! Reaching out is the first step to making and building relationships. Additionally I would recommend joining some Facebook groups. There’s great info and people on those as well. Best of luck and feel free to reach out with any questions etc.
