What if it's a quite a far way from my home. I live in Vancouver so there's no way I can invest locally. Where I'm investing it's about an hours drive from my residence. Do you guys still recommend managing the condo myself? Thanks!
The problem with owning 10-20 SFH's is that you gotta have a different system for each unit, a different layout. With multifamilies everything's under one roof. Economics of scale really shows if you do your due diligence. Plus everything is based on the cap rate and noi. Whether some people see that has a plus or minus.

for a first time investment down payment of 10% Will that be sufficient in Most Areas? (here in Canada British Columbia) Or do most as do i have to go the Traditional route and have to put a down payment of 20% or more? what do they check other than your Credit History and such regarding this issue? Thanks!

Any advice or tips on the Abbotsford market in BC? Planning to buy my first investment condo with the next 14-18 months.
Say if you don't have a lot equity built up in any of your other properties?
