Ok got this email reply from the Register Of Deeds (Lauderdale County)

"The Tennessee Real Estate Assessment Data page is one that is free and can be very helpful for some info. To go a step further in actually viewing the deeds to the property, you can access US Title Search but you have to subscribe to this one".

Have now viewed & have confirmed that the security instrument for the note concerned is indeed a Deed Of Trust!!!
