Lorain has great parts to be investing in. But it does have a few spots that you will loose in.

I like to get enough insurance that if it burns down I get all my money back and I can fill the whole in the ground with dirt. I also like high deductibles to keep the prices down. Most of mine are at 10k deductible

Make a game plan and stick to it. I started at 19 now 26 years later have made a bunch of money and equity. It’s a long term game plan. Keep up the right path and you will be fine

I worked for a company for 13 years before quitting my job. At that point I had about 70 units

I got board and did repairs for other landlords then started a management company. But today I could live off just my rentals about 300 of them

My friends that do it full time had jobs for 15-20 years and got there places paid for. Now live off the income

We manage about 1000 property in the area. Lorain is a good place for rentals

Low property taxes and cheaper homes. Rents are cheaper than Cleveland but so are the expenses

The cities are also very easy to work with
