Good morning BP family. Need some direction and advice. Thinking about investing in buy and hold homes in the Maryland area. Does anyone know how the market is there? What areas should I look at ? Thanks in advance.

@Forrest Faulconer it was a regular appraisal. The house needed a little work but I never experienced a appraiser mandating a repair before completing a appraisal 

I recently had an offer accepted on a single family property in the Pennsylvania area. It took a little while for my lender to find a appraiser to go out to property. They said it was due to the COVID pandemic   When the appraiser came out they wrote a report but did not give a value to the property. On their report they mentioned due to some mold on the bottom of a wall in basement and the fact that the gas was not on they could not give a value. Those things needed to be fixed then they came back out,with an additional cost ,then gave a completed report  My question is is this common or was I taken advantage of.  Thanks in advance

Things such as flooring countertops cabinets. We have areas for these things in nyc but not familiar with Harrisburg. Any suggestions would be appreciated. Thanks

Hello friends. I’ve been hearing a lot of good things about Ohio. It has been mentioned on various podcast and YouTube. Does anyone currently invest there. If so what areas the areas that should be looked at for cash flow. I just started my investment journey and just wondering if I should put it on my radar. Thanks in advance.
