With the real estate market uncertainty I am looking for the best Real Estate Investment strategy this year. I am looking for advice from experts and those with experience investing virtually (wholesale, tax lien, foreclosure investing..etc)

Anything helps! Thank you all.

@Dominic Flint thanks Dominic that is exactly how it was presented to me that there is no competition and I would actually have the first look at the property prior to the property hitting the market. Anything that I should look out for when dealing with off the market properties? Off the market properties seem very attractive but I wonder if there are any hidden issues with off the market real estate?

@Zach Evanish thanks Zach I appreciate it. I figured that was the case. I was originally told off the market deals are better to deal with in comparison to the MLS listings. Also, it was mentioned that off the market is more lucrative. Do you know if there is any truth to that?

Recently approached about off market deals? I wanted to get a better understanding of what is considered an off market deal.

Any advice/definition is greatly appreciated!

Thanks

Does anyone know the best strategy to get involved with Remote Real Estate Investing?

Where would I start as an investor to get in contact with sellers in another state? Do I need to travel to the property?

Where can I get a team to collaborate with in another state? Real estate investment meetings?

If anyone could help with the questions above that would be great!

@Kevin Scott I have classroom experience in Real Estate and I bought a few properties as buy hold in the Chicago area. The classroom experience consists of me completing my real estate hours required by the state and now I have to sit for the state exam. I wanted to look into wholesaling prior to sitting for the exam to see if it makes sense to dive into the wholesaling aspect of the Real Estate industry.

@Kevin Scott I have a budget that I can allocate towards marketing and willing to put in several hours a day towards the free stuff/inexpensive things as you mentioned
