@Zack Karp thanks for putting that out, didn’t know.

If there a timeframe I need to wait between cash out refi’s?

@Jason Wray thanks for the advice.

My current mortgage is at $548k to stay under the Jumbo threshold with a rate of 3.5%.

What concerns, if any, should I have if I do a Jumbo cash-out?

Thanks.

@Don Gouge good thoughts.

I wouldn’t be adding square footage, more updating the house from the 2010’s look the new modern look.

I am curious on what is the consensus of the group for my primary residence:

Should I take out a HELCO prior to remodeling and use the HELCO remodel

or

Should I remodel and then take out a HELOC

Appreciate the guidance in advance.

I did a cash-out refi last summer on my primary residence and with values of homes continuing to rise I am curious if I can do a HELCO after a cash-out refi.

I didn't take all the cash-out I could have as I was wanting to stay below a Jumbo on the cash-out thus resulting in remaining equity in my house.

Thanks is advance for your guidance.

@Dmitriy Fomichenko thank you. Would I need to set up a LLC or tie to an existing LLC?

@Marco Bario will do, thanks for the advice.

Hello everybody.

I have recently changed jobs and have over $250k in my 401k and looking at options of what to do.

I thinking about using the money to become a Hard Money lender.

Please let me know the pro’s & con’s of this strategy.

Any alternatives ideas?

Hello,

I am wanting to look into options for a cash out refi for my primary residence in DFW area.

I estimate I have about $300k in equity in the house.

Can somebody recommend a good local bank or credit union?

Thanks in advance.
