To answer your question about do Hardmoney I've heard mixed reviews about the company. I would say ask a lot of questions and get as much info as you can to make an informed decision.

Hi Mike

New to investing but looking to get into Flipping SF Homes, and then Buy/Hold deals

Do Hard Money has approved me for a loan...all looks good as far as term, interstinterest rate and other details of the loan.

Interest rate and other details of the loan.

They do require an upfront $3000 payment which you do get back upon the successful acquisition , Flip of your first deal

Does anyone have any experience with the hard money lender, Do Hard Money?

Looking into doing business with them, if they approve me for REI in Raleigh NC

Thanks

Hi BP World:

I constantly see threads and discussions and I want to make sure I'm responding properly when I do interact. I see the @ followed by the BP members name. How do you get that to display so proper acknowledgement is given to the party you are replying to.

I hope this is not a silly question but I just want to practice proper technique while on BP

.

Thanks

Hi:

I'm Stephen and I am new to investing and I have heard a lot of discussion about whether you need to be licensed to Wholesale and Assign Contracts because of all the "Real Estate" like processes that you undertake to Wholesale. I live in NC and I was wondering if anyone had any additional insight into whether a RE license is a must in NC. I looking to get into Wholesaling in NC, the Triangle area

Thanks

Sean:

Good to hear from a fellow NC investor...or in my case..soon to be investor.. What does MP..I see it used when people are asking for follow-up information to be exchanged.

Also I'm interested in how do you get a Proof of Funds Letter in order to even make an offer when you need to see the property, first in order to make an offer???

Help!!!

HI:

I'm new to BP and I'm looking to get into Wholesale acquisitions in the NC area. This is some great advice. As I'm just starting out part time, would it be wise to start a company first and get biz cards, etc or does that come later. I've listened to a number of BP podcasts, read some books and I'm trying to gain as much knowledge as possible, but I don't want to simply sit on the sidelines...waiting to  decide when to jump in.  Thoughts?? Suggestions.

Post: New to Investing- A lot of Reading but How do I "Jump In"

Hi Bigger Pockets Community:

I'm new to the world of investing as I have not completed my first real estate transaction but I want to move forward in that direction, while working a full time job.

I've done a good bit of reading on House Flipping and RE investing in general as well as listened to many of the BP podcasts that Josh and Brandon do.

I'm interested in starting out with Buy and Flip, REO's and Short Sales to start.

I have less than 5K to start with so I'm not sure of when I will "jump in" but I would like to start the new year, 2017 with some actionable items that can move me closer to acquiring me first deal.

Any suggestions on what I should put on my "Starter List" as a new investor.

Thanks a bunch!

 Steve T.
