I have to give Watertown credit. With the new laws the state passed about zombie properties they are really taking charge and tearing down a lot of run down and decrepit buildings. I hope it works out as well as I think/hope it does.@Matt McMacken what do you think about that?

Hi Matt. Closing on my 5th in Watertown myself. BP is a good source, enjoy

Check out Beacon.

Watertown can be a good market. People speak bad of the area but its quick access to the outdoors and a beautiful countryside. Winters can be cold and snowy, but so what.

Looking to do a cash out refinance of a investment property for the purpose of paying of a pension loan off ( which I took out to buy the property) and using the rest to buy another multi family. Already started the application process with the lender I have the mortgage for. My question: will the bank look upon this strategy favorably or is there a better way to approach them. Thank you.

@Aaron Phillips I gladly pay extra for a better cleaning job, and You’re only as good as your last job
@Daniel Nguyen Don’t be scared of a foundation problem till you know what is exactly wrong with it.

Looking to invest in the Capital Region. Prefer multi family. Have investments in other parts of NY state. On a recent visit to Albany I saw some potential and the initial math looks good. So just looking to talk to an experienced single and duplex family property manager in the area.

Albany itself seems difficult. Bad and good neighborhoods are separated by a couple feet. My sister is attending college there and first time I ever really looked into the area was in August. So I’m open to advice on areas. I prefer blue collar one and two family houses.

hello all,

Little late to this thread but I am interested in this discussion. I own rentals in other parts of the state and live in Queens. On a couple recent trips to Albany I saw the area had great potential.
