Yeah I'll definitely keep that in mind. I went to one meeting and I thought it was going to be on the legal side of buy and hold, but it turned into the legality of lending money. I know that can get really frustrating.

@Alejandra Perez I do have a couple other ladies interested.

@Rich Ferradino I'm focusing on the north side. I do go to some of the reias, but I hate having to go into town for work then come home for a couple hours and then drive another 30 minutes back into town for a REIA. That's at least 2 hours of driving a day. Once a month is fine, but I've been going to about 1/week. It would just be nice to go to one meeting that's actually closer to me.

Welcome! I would suggest going to local reia's. I'm thinking of starting a women's group on the north side if you're in that area.

That was the plan and I was just going to drive myself (possible bring my dog if I can find a dog friendly hotel), but my bf doesn't like that idea and wants to come with me, but he's not too excited about going to the wedding so he wants to make the trip worth his time.

Welcome Allison! What side of SA are you in? I'm thinking of starting up a women's investor group on the northside if you're interested

Yeah Alamo REI stuff is 30 minutes from me usually so I wanted something a little closer. I did find two ladies interested at a networking group last night. SAREIA has a women's group as well but also about 20-30 minutes from me

I just wanted to see if their was any interest in a Women's Investing group on the northside of San Antonio near Stone Oak or even Bulverde, TX. I might be able to get us a small room in downtown Bulverde off the bulverde exit of 281.

So I will be traveling to Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania around July 8-10th. Are their any good courses near there relating to real estate, negotiation, business, financing, etc around that time? I have a wedding Saturday afternoon so that might be a small issue. Or even along the way from Texas to Pennsylvania would work.

Bonus if they have a military discount.
