@Arianne L. So the one this Tuesday is for an REIA also? What is this group? Is there a fb page too? I may be in a RE class that week so may not be able to make that one. Do you record them? Our Northshore Louisiana Real Estate investor association does a fb live for their monthly meeting which is second Tuesday of each month if you ever want to watch from afar just get on their fb page. I hope to meet you soon though. Will you be at the one in Niceville?

Is there a such thing as a rehab/renovation consultant?

@Mike McCarthy, @Ned Carey Great Advise from both of you! Thanks! I imagine I need a contractor who specializes in rehabs? Do you actually use them to do the work? or just sub it out yourself if you don't have experience like me that is? I really appreciate you input. Thank you!

How can you flip or rehab a house with no knowledge of construction/contractors? I know you can get inspectors but I keep hearing how you need to jump on a deal quick. I am also hearing a lot of making offers without seeing the property. How do you do that and still know it is a deal?

I am trying to get started and would like to purchase a rental property. I am currently not working so I have no income. Can I still borrow money for rental property to start or do I need to go more into wholesaling so I wont necessarily need money. I do have an IRA but don't think I can touch it for another four years. Will I be able to use it in qualifying for a loan though?
