@Les Jean-Pierre  I regularly use these against my brokerage accounts.  This is NOT complicated.  Will not show up on credit, ease of access, etc.

To your question above - a margin call will happen.  If you do this yourself you simply sell stock/bonds/etc to cover yourself.  If catastrophic(financial collapse) you will be liquidated and could be on the hook, although unlikely.  If you invest in CEFs ,for example, which carry dividend rates of 8-11% and then borrow margin against these the dividends will help to pay off margin(if received in cash) and keep you "safe".  The key is mitigation of risk here.

Wow, my wife is from Somerville and myself Everett.  As said above, suburb, is a bit of a stretch.  These articles are so ridiculous it is hard to even think of it as serious. Salisbury, a suburb?  And yea, apparently NH is local.  As @Shaun Reilly said, Nashua...maybe.
