Hey Will, I just read this article and I thought the part about the voice over script could help you out. It's near the bottom.

Jerry K. I gotcha...I misunderstood you about the "I" and "we". Again, all great info you gave Will.

That is all excellent information Jerry and thanks more mentioning my video marketing thread.

I agree, offering a free item can get them to convert a lot easier. That should be something I incorporate into my video marketing test and see what gives the best results.

Will, as for your voiceover. Always address the problems first and the benefits you bring them. Jerry hit the nail on the head with his advice but I disagree you used "I" and "we" too much. I think it creates a more personal video and helps you seem like a "real" person. This can help you create more trust with the viewer. In my video marketing test I will be testing both methods to see which gets the best results. If you want to go with the "i"'s and "we"'s I would write something along the lines of this:

Hi my name is William Hoyle with [REMOVED] and I buy homes in San Antonio Texas. I will buy your home no matter your situation and or the condition of the home. If you are behind payments, have a job transfer, or the house needs a lot of repairs I will still make you an offer. We buy homes quickly and for cash. To get an cash offer on your home today, Give me a call now at [REMOVED] or you can fill out the form on the right to give us some contact information to see how we can best help you.

I left out the 3-4 houses because you are limiting yourself in the viewers eyes. They may think since its near the end of the month you may have purchased your limit already or you only do the 3-4 best and they may not be considered.

Be careful with all SEO gigs. There are some that are alright but most of them are trash and can actually hurt your SEO efforts. SEO isn't something that should be done by someone for $5. But, if you know what you are doing you can definitely find gigs that can help you with SEO, stuff like setting up accounts for blogs, spinning articles etc.

That website is amazing to browse through and see what you can get for $5 bucks!

Be careful with fiverr.com. It is a good resource if you can find the right gigs and you know what you are doing. A lot of the backlinks on there are coming from low quality site, sites that have nothing to do with your topic, and could be in a completely different language. With all the algorithm updates from Google it may be best just to hire someone if you are not familiar with seo.

Good resource. I've been reading Pat's blog for a while, it's full of great resources that could be applied to any website (real estate or not).

Thanks everyone!

Sandy - I completely agree, it is very under utilized. In fact, I just posted a blog on BP about using youtube and why YouTube is so important. You can check it out here: http://www.biggerpockets.com/blogs/2933/blog_posts/22169-why-youtube-if-vital-to-your-video-real-estate-marketing-campaign

I plan on commenting a lot in the marketing forums. I'll see you there!

Hi everyone! I joined last night and have already been enjoying the the forums. I am from Ventura County, California but hope to be moving to Colorado within the year.

My background isn't with real estate, but with video marketing. I have worked for several video production and video marketing companies over the past 5 years. I recently became involved in real estate and love to share my knowledge on video marketing, SEO and social media. I am looking forward to learning about new marketing techniques and discussing how real estate marketing is changing.

From what I have seen already it is amazing how much information is shared among everyone here. I hope to learn from everyone and hopefully provide good information as well!

I agree with your assessment. THe same things can be applied to people found through EBay, virtual worker sites like eLance or rentacoder or vworker, etc. They claim to provide links, link from their "high PR" website, etc.

THere is no easy pathway to useful links

I found one of the best ways is to find a method that works and then hire a VA to follow your method step by step. But, even then social media seems to be plays a bigger role and is something I an experimenting with even more.
