I am looking a buying a condo subject to existing financing. The loan is with pnc bank and is at 2.85% for 19 more years. Does anyone have experience with PNC bank. Will they call the loan? What are the risks here? Thanks Brian

@Chris Weiler Thanks for the contact. I called and hopefully hue can help me out.

@Pam Rice I agree that charging interest does not seem right but he and I decided that there will be penalties if he does not reimburse on the schedule that he set for it. His mom is upset he brought me into it and she may pay for it just because of that.

Thanks for all the replies. Super helpful!!

The other day I found out my tenants in one of our duplexes has bedbugs. He does not have the money up front to deal with it but he promises to pay me back if I pay for it.

1. What are my legal responsibilities here as owner and landlord? Obviously I don't want the other side to get it.

2. Should I craft another contract with him on this item? He claims he can pay me 200/two weeks. The guy we found to do it charges 800. Should I charge interest in the money?

3. Any suggestions on the best methods to rid a place of bedbugs? Seems there are a number of ways.

Thanks Brian.
