I'm working on my first deal and it's an REO. Asking price is $41,600 and I looked at comps and they're around $135,000-$145,000. This place is going to need a $60,000 make over. I plan on putting in an offer tomorrow for $27,000. I'm not into the rehab thing just yet so I plan on wholesaling this deal. What's the best way to acquire this property? I've heard of a few different ways but I want to what's the norm for acquiring REO's to wholesale. Any advice is much appreciated.

Im just getting started in investing and wanted to know how do you get your agent to not pass the properties that you find along to other investors. Any help would be helpful. Thanks

Hi my name is Shawn and I'm new to BP. I found out about this forum from an agent I'm working with. I'm looking to get started in REI by the way of wholesaling and eventually going into business full time. I have some knowledge in real estate but still a novice. I have the motivation and dedication but in need of direction. With that being said I'm looking forward to seeing what I can gain from BP.
