I have this same question. Do you currently have a CPA? That would be the person to ask. My CPA told me to buy in an LLC S corp because of my goals but I'm not sure how the transfer process works.

@Ivan Alvarado Typically an agent would have you sign an agreement as your commitment to them. If you did not sign this agreement I would suggest being honest with the agent you've been working with. As an agent, it would be unfair to work with multiple agents because only one will get a commission. Personally I am actively searching for client properties but I also encourage my clients to look and send them to me so I can do more research. If your agent is vetoing properties you show interest in, this is most likely for a good reason after doing further research, but make sure they are reviewing with you so you have a clear understanding. Good luck with your continued search!

My client wants to make an offer on a single family home that is zoned for single family and convert to 2 units. Is this possible in Tampa without going through the rezoning process?

I would suggest you reach out to @Scott Lundgren to discuss what you are searching for...

Rent to retirement seems like the right fit and they have free advisors.You can view their current inventory for specific markets and they have the breakdown included.

@Joey Stein

I am speaking from what I have learned from friends, not my own experience but just like any professional service, shop around. Decide the benefits and cost of your time taking on the tasks of advertising, booking, managing, etc. Congratulations on your first deal!
