Talking to them is probably the best option. Do you have a relationship with them where you can approach them on this issue? Didn't see anything thrown over the fence but I guess it was dumped on the other side of the fence. Seems silly they would dump trash right next door instead of putting it out for pickup. The time he took walking over to your property he could have walked it out for pickup.

@Nicole Shipley
I'm curious, based on the amount of repairs you stated, what made this a " turn key" property? I'm an OOS investor and brought a property in Parkville just outside of Towson last year and its doing well so far. I'm looking at the another one, but the area is starting to get overpriced to cashflow. The areas outside of Towson are hit or miss depending how far outside, but still a good investment if done right.

What was your intent with the property when you made the purchase? I'm assuming it was to buy and hold since you were looking for " Turn Key. Also, the age of the house and neighborhood lack of appreciation were known before the purchase. So those should have already been taken into consideration before the purchase. Honestly 92 yrs old is not that old for some areas of Baltimore. I would hold since it seems to be cash flowing now.

@Jorge Pena. Looks like it's coming along nice. What is the timeline to have the house completed?

@Chris Nordella

Congratulations.

I've talked to a few turnkey companies. Still undecided on market. Could you PM the company you used. Thanks

@SAKINAH P.Sorry, I've also been researching lenders in the NY area and haven't found one yet that lends to an LLC. I will continue to research and I'll let you know if I find one. Good luck on your duplex purchase.

Hi everyone, I’m looking forward to learning as much as possible on BP. I currently own my primary residents in Valley Stream, NY and own a co-op in Queens that I rent out. I’m currently looking to purchase 1-2 properties this year to buy and hold. I’m in the early stages of researching different states and options. I am motivated and determined to make this happen.

I look forward to getting to know this community and to contribute as soon as I can.
