East New York has a lot of potential. Yes, certain parts are high crime and a war zone, but the same was said about Bedford-Stuyvesant. We can clearly see the results of gentrification in Bed-Stuy. If you're willing to deal with some of the issues now in East New York, you'll make it up in the end. It's better to invest in East New York now before you get priced out of the market.
