@Glenn McCrorey I have a friend with one and it was very well trained. Way more chill than my dogs, except when my dogs got close to her food.. than it chased them. Freaked my dogs out. By the way I have golden retrievers and the pig was smaller than them

@Rick Gustafson Thanks! I know what you mean by hooked. This is pretty much my only social media anymore :) I'm learning so much and feel really confident in my future. I'm going to start slow and just keep going. Only time will tell where this takes me. But I plan on living til I'm 104 so I have the time!

@Vanessa Ganaden Thanks for the response. I've been thinking about purchasing rental properties for a few years and it wasn't until I stumbled across BiggerPockets and researched it more that I became more confident and realized I can do this. I'm very analytical and will spend the next several months studying the market I want to be in. Then when I have some of this miscellaneous debt paid off in 6-8 months I believe I will be confident enough to pull the trigger. Even sat down last night and wrote out my one year goal! The information on this site and the podcast and books have been invaluable.

@Jim Wickenden thanks! I've been trying to figure out where to get good demographic info other than the cities marketing material. This will be helpful.

@Deanna O. Great advice! thanks! So much to think about. I'm just taking it all in right now. Studying the market I want to be in, pretty sure it's buy and hold rentals. Would love both duplexes and SFR. Looking for long term investments with cash flow. Too start with I'm going to look for turnkey or something that needs just a bit of work, paint, carpet new fixtures and appliances, something I can handle on my own. Excited to see where this takes me.

@Sharron Morrow what books would you recommend for someone just starting out?

@Joe Randazzo only time I love da Bears is when they beat the Vikings!
