@Paul Sandhu That's the issue.  I've done a fair amount of research on the Airbnb rental market in WNY, and have contacted a few hosts without any response.  I don't know if hosting Airbnb will provide great returns immediately, but the ceiling is higher than long term rentals.

Hi, I'm an aspiring real estate investor living in NYC and interested in buying in the West New York, NJ market to rent out as short term rentals or multi-family rentals.  Does anybody have any experience in that area in terms of ease of renting, cash flow, or general tips?  I've been in the analysis-paralysis phase for quite awhile and am ready to make a move.
