Hello Masterminds, I am just starting out as an investor in the D.C. Metropolitan Area. As a newbie, I doing my best to educate myself by attending REA meeting, reading, attending meet ups, and networking.... I don't want to be super knowledgeable with no experience and far from a tire kicker. I am ready to jump in. I have begun wholesaling, but I want to get my first fix and flip under my belt. I am willing to JV a fix and flip by providing some capital, if the numbers make sense of course. I definitely need to find an amazing CPA in my area to push my business to the next level....Any advise BP to help me succeed in my business? Shalante
Hey BP, I am a real estate agent in Maryland. I have been a member of BP for about 8 months now, but have simply been a fly on the wall. I have been listening to the podcast, reading books, reading forum post, and occasionally attending my local REI ( I know shame on me). So I have been absorbing knowledge to further my ultimate goal of becoming a full time investor. As a real estate agent, I have sat at the closing table and after reading over the closing disclosure with investors I realized I am sitting in the wrong seat. I believe in community revitalization and plan on beginning my first project soon. So wish me luck BP, I am open to advice, I am interested in partnerships, referrals, and anything of value. So thanks in advance for the value I have found on BP and continued education I plan on receiving each of you.

@Stone Teran based on what I have seen the home is uninhabitable in its current condition.

Hello Money Makers!!!

I have a question and need all of your input. I client contacted me regarding buying their property. They gave me the address and I went to the property and knocked on the neighbor's doors. This home caught fire about 8 years ago and has sat ever since. This property will need a total rehab because of the fire, smoke, and water damage. Structurally the house is sound it sits on a huge lot with a fenced in pool. How do I asses the value of the home?
