@Christopher. I would love to start as soon as I find profitable deal. Even if I make 200 right now After paying 20% down, I am happy with that. Atleast I am not loosing. Let's see how it will go. Thanks guys for your feed back and motivate me to become pro like you.

My basic numbers are like this for rental income in great Houston neighborhood. Property value = 130,000 Rent income = 1350 per month 3-2 Tax n insurance would be max 350 Is it good or bad deal? I am trying to buy in low price but before I put offer it goes to pending sale.

I keep looking all available houses in particular area where community and schools are the best. I hardly find any good deal there and before I go ahead and submit my price, it goes to pending sale. It happened to me twice already in 2 weeks. I need something close to my home as first investment home and in good neighborhood so I won't end up in bad experience in my first deal.

I want to start investing in real estate investment in houston. I read few books and they all mentioned that get good deal to make money in real estate. I am starting first time and I am confused that should I wait for good deal forever or just start with some good remodeled house? What do you suggest to beginners?

Buying a rental property is easier than managing rental. I had rental property for 5 years and then I sold it and moved back to Texas. I am always worried if rental stops paying me then what I can do to get rid off them in houston, Tx. Does law help me or renters? How long does it take to remove rentals ect? Any help would be appreciated.
