@Dhar Rawal Great story thanks for sharing!!

Quick question about your 401k.  I have the same issue with Fidelity.  How did you get the funds out of there and into something you can manage?

I have been passively investing in RE for 2 years in SFH in the midwest. I have been watching the local market here in Brooklyn and NY and looking to make my first deal here in multi-family.

Would love to find someone here I can learn from and at the same time partner on a deal with.

Maybe you should be the one who compiles all the stats and sells it as a service ;)

Hi Mike, I would love to know the software you are using to get these numbers.  Thank you so much would be greatly appreciated.

Mine are as follows.

-Purchase 6+ units in New York State.   Connect with portfolio lenders locally.
-Organize a local real estate meet up in Brooklyn NY
-Bring on 2 virtual assistants to help me with time management.
-Travel to areas where the 2% rule is attainable.   Began to understand the markets and start connecting with local agents in those areas.
-Have a great time, work hard, and post a lot more on bigger pockets.

Whenever you are read to setup the meetup in Brooklyn I am ready as well.  Any current ones that anyone knows about?

Homeunion.com

Have phone conference with them tomorrow to learn more. Any sharable input?

I used them for my first turnkey investment and I would recommend them.  I am 8 months in I got a good deal on the property and they are so far doing a good job of management and communication.  They did switch there way of doing business and I stopped using them because of a new 3.5% acquisition fee that they implemented which does not fit my criteria for having built in equity on my deals.

They are definitely a credible company its up to you to do your due diligence on the market and the houses that you choose.
