Hey Brian, I closed on a similar property 6 months ago in this same zip code but as my main residence.  I am using it to house hack and I put about 15% down and live rent free as long as my tenants continue paying.  I live here for 30 years I can tell you a lot about the place and what you should expect.  I take it you wont be living in one of the units?

Thank you!

When searching for Rentals I like to use Rentometer.com.  I get a good sense of what the market is with that tool.

I have been buying SFH's since 2014 and currently own 11 units. I am utilizing the BRRR effect. I have properties and strong teams in Ohio, Missouri and Philadelphia. I am now looking to grow my business more aggressively and looking for a credit line to do this. I have a good portfolio lender in place when it comes to refinance and looking for a credit line to acquire more properties.

I am an investor based in Brooklyn New York and I own 12 SFH's in the Midwest. I currently have 10 mortgages under my personal name and have reached my limit with fannie/freddie. I currently own 2 properties 1 in PA and 1 in MO all cash and looking to do a cash out refi on both. I have been having issues finding a commercial lender to help me with these in my situation.

Any advice or connections to a good commercial lender who can help would be much appreciated.

@Shawn Ackerman I think 2-families are in the 500-600k range but im more informed on the 3-4 families which are around 700-900k.  I dont think you can get a 4-family anywhere in brooklyn for 800k besides for here.  Am I correct or no?

@Shawn Ackerman why do you say that?  I live 5 minutes from Canarsie.  South Brooklyn has the cheapest Real Estate you can find in all of Brooklyn and could make sense for an investor.  Unless there is something I dont know about the area?  Bad tenants?  Canarsie itself looks well maintained to me.
